Get dual certified in early childhood and special education.

Effective Fall 2013 we are pleased to announce that we will be offering a new Manhattan cohort model for the Master of Science in Early Childhood Special Education, preservice track. This program will be open to candidates who do not currently hold teacher certification in New York State. This full-time program of study will lead to dual certification in early childhood education and students with disabilities (birth – grade 2). The majority of coursework will be offered at our Varick Street campus on Sundays and one evening during the week. 

This is a great time to study Early Childhood Education. Obama’s UPK initiative raises demand for early childhood educators.
