Midnight Run to Benefit Homeless

Manhattan Community Event


Social Work students will be distributing donated items to the homeless in Manhattan on Friday, November 22.

Midnight Run is a volunteer organization dedicated to finding common ground between the housed and the homeless.

If you would like to donate, please stop by the School of Social Work Suite at Adelphi’s Manhattan Center.

The following items are needed:

  • Men’s Clothing (Extra large sizes): warm coats, durable pants, socks, underpants, sweaters, sweatshirts and long-sleeve shirts, t-shirts, hats, gloves, shoes, long underwear, belts, backpacks
  • Travel Size Toiletries: soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, washcloths, razors, shaving cream, deodorant, lip balm, moisturizer, feminine hygiene products, tissues.
  • Non Perishables: juice boxes, bottles of water, cans of soda, granola bars, candy bars, hot and cold cups with lids, spoons, napkins, brown paper bags, plastic bags (gallon and sandwich size) , Garbage bags (Gallon sizes), aluminum foil
